The Meals for Seniors Board of Directors and our Volunteers work very hard to ensure we are able to continue to serve our honored senior citizens, whether it is during a pandemic or bad weather. With the generous support of the community - not only our local coastal community neighbors - but also from part-time neighbors - and from supporters throughout the state and beyond - we are able to do so. With your help we will be able to provide our seniors with freshly prepared, hot, nutritious meals throughout 2025 and beyond.

  • Our dining room is open. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; we serve hot meals from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in Rockaway Beach. A $4 donation is suggested, but not required, and no one will ever be turned away.

  • Meals are delivered to those who are homebound. If you know of someone in need, please call us at 503-317-8967. Perhaps a senior is recuperating from surgery, or a fall, or otherwise just needs or wants temporary assistance with meals - please call us.

  • Please consider a donation to Meals for Seniors, Inc. to assist us with serving our senior citizens, especially our vulnerable homebound senior neighbors.  Simply select the Donate button.  Just $24 will pay for 6 hot and nutritious meals plus snacks; enough to serve a homebound senior for a week - $96 will serve that senior for a month!   If you would like to help support our efforts, you can use the Donate button above should you wish to donate using PayPal, or checks could be mailed to:

Meals for Seniors in Rockaway Beach has been serving hot, freshly cooked and nutritious meals to the 55 and over community since 2003 - from Garibaldi to Manzanita.

As a registered non-profit, funding for all our programs come from donations or generous grants.

We couldn’t do what we do without the tremendous efforts of all of our volunteers who in 2025:

  • donated 10,002 hours of their personal time. (compared to 6,807 hours in 2024)

  • prepared, cooked, packaged and served 18,515 meals (compared to 13,852 meals in 2024 - a 34% increase). Of these, 8,540 were served in our dining room (compared to 5,662 in 2024) and 9,975 meals were delivered to the homebound (compared to 8,190 in 2024).

  • drove over 3,000 miles using their own vehicles and gas to deliver food and checking on our homebound seniors

  • served meals 52 weeks of the year.
